Total Marine Services of Jefferson, Inc. (TMS) has the ultimate in hauling capabilities and versatility, including a dry-dock, and travelift. We provide dry-docking and travelift hauling for repair, refit, and maintenance services to a variety of vessels, including; towboats, push boats, tugs, dredges, various types of barges, offshore supply vessels, crew boats, ferryboats, paddlewheel boats, ferries, trawlers, fishing boats, pleasure boats, houseboats, wood hulls, commercial vessels, and others. The travelift offers capability to load boats and barges on top of other floating equipment, etc., or on trailers for highway transport.
 

The shipyard offers a great location for vessels in need of repair, fabrication, or maintenance and has serviced many different types. The facility encompasses over five (5) acres, with waterfront, including a 33 ft. wide slip. We are accessible for cranes, forklifts, trucks and cars. We have plans to increase our floating docks. The operation of our newly acquired 400-ton and existing 165-ton Marine Travelifts allows us to offer immediate dry-docking and repair services. TMS performs such tasks as painting, steel and aluminum fabrication and repair, joiner work, on-site engine rebuilding and maintenance, propeller work and rigging.

Electrical service includes: 125 volt 1 phase, 240 volt single phase, 208 volt 3 phase, and 480 volt 3 phase, all 60 hertz alternating current.

Paint Services:
Spray and brush all types of paint, providing top quality paint finishing
Application of internal, protective and marine coatings including primers, epoxies, polyurethane's, alkyd, antifoulings, and other specialty coatings; or the application of customer furnished paint and to their specifications
Sandblast/waterblast/chemical striping/scraping
40-ton pressurized sandblasting pot combined with a 40-ton storage hopper that can provide continuous blasting for up to 60 hours.
In compliance with environmental protection agencies

Welding:
Steel replacement, wheel and shaft work
Sheetmetal fabrication, assembly and repairs sheetmetal articles and equipment aboard vessels
Fabricate, install and replace structural parts for vessels from mold loft to completion.
Perform gas and electric arc cutting of metals and various types of welding such as shielded metal arc, gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, submerged arc, and stud and gas.
